Christine & Nick Emmons

Christine Emmons is our new and first ever Executive Director. Christine and her husband Nick will also serve as the caretakers of the Burke Mountain Clubhouse. Christine worked for the VT Agency of Transportation for over 30 years in various capacities, with her most rewarding roles supporting municipalities with highway & stormwater grant programs and FEMA projects. She also served as a Burke Selectboard member for 6 years (the first female to serve on the board) and has been active in the community serving stints on the School Board, the OneBurke Committee, as the Burke Fall Festival vendor coordinator and was awarded the 2021 Burke Citizen of the Year Award. Nick is a CDL truck driver and equipment operator with experience in carpentry and wood cutting. They have a young adult daughter Makenna and enjoy camping and helping with the family Maple Sugaring operation.
