The Main Library
Our library boasts a comprehensive collection, including a wide array of modern novels, a dedicated young adult section, and a selection of new-release bestsellers. We also maintain sections for non-fiction and classics, as well as an extensive “Vermont section” featuring works by local authors and books about the state.
Beyond our collection, we are a hub for community activity. Our regular schedule includes a weekly Craft Circle Group, monthly Book Clubs, and crafting classes tailored for all ages.
We also host monthly Grief Support meetings and weekly AA Ladies Group meetings. Additionally, we organize Holiday parties and various other community gatherings and social events throughout the year.
We actively collaborate with local schools, demonstrated by our hosting of the 5-week Kingdom East Experiential Music Program. This initiative saw instructor Patrick Ross introduce various instruments and musical styles to middle school students from seven different schools. Furthermore, we served as a gardening host site for the KE school district’s Wellness Fair, welcoming two large groups of students to the BMC for an enriching day.
